Dr. LaShunda Calvert is a history instructor at Hinds Community College Utica Campus. She completed a B.A. and M.A. in history at Jackson State University, and earned her Ph.D. in urban & regional planning at JSU in 2013. Calvert has more than 20 years of teaching and lecturing experience (both on and off campus) presenting to a wide range of students from Pre-K level through college.
