Each year the MS Humanities Council celebrates the Humanities with the Humanities Teacher Awards for all of the state’s universities and colleges. From Jackson State University, this year’s recipient is Dr. LaTannia Ellerbe. Topic: “Why Not an HBCU? The Importance of HBCU’s in Post-Secondary Music Education.”
