Tracy Carr

Tracy Carr has been with the Mississippi Library Commission since 2004 and has served as the Library Services Director since 2013. Tracy oversees four departments here at the Mississippi Library Commission: The Library Development (consulting and continuing education), Talking Books (services for the blind and physically handicapped), Collection Management (technical services), and Information Services (reference and interlibrary loan). She also maintains Beehive Resource Sharing, Mississippi’s statewide interlibrary loan system. Carr received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Texas, a Master of Arts in English from Mississippi State University, and a Master of Library and Information Science from The University of Alabama.
