LaShonda Levy

LaShonda Levy, African American Literature II and Seminar of African American Literature for the past five years, has an in-depth look into the lives and works of many of the authors discussed. Being and African American female gives her a unique perspective as to the challenges faced by the women selected.  She discusses the movement of the African American woman’s image and expectations to the brilliant writers of the Harlem Renaissance.
