Dr. Andrew P. Haley is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Southern Mississippi. His areas of expertise are United States History, the history of food, as well as cultural history. His book titled Turning the Tables: Restaurants and the Rise of the American Middle Class, 1880 – 1920, published in 2011 examines the transformation of American public dining at the start of the twentieth century.
