Sunday Screening: “Fannie Lou Hamer’s America”

Join us for a Sunday Screening of Fannie Lou Hamer’s America at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Two Mississippi Museums. Directed by Joy Davenport, this film tells the story of Fannie Lou Hamer’s pivotal role in the Civil Rights Movement.

Following the screening, there will be a Q&A with Joy Davenport and Monica Land, Fannie Lou Hamer’s niece, moderated by MHC Program & Outreach Officer John Spann. For more information, contact 601-576-6850 or email info@mdah.ms.gov.
