The PRAGDA Spanish Film Festival promotes Spanish language and culture by curating a series of films, offering a platform for educational and societal enrichment.

This event comprises the presentation of five films that typically extend beyond traditional cinema or streaming platforms, delving into themes that intricately intertwine personal and political dimensions. Each session includes the screening of curated cinematic pieces followed by a subsequent Q&A segment to foster engaging discussions exploring language variations, socio-cultural and political nuances.

The film series will consist of five screenings, each accompanied by discussions led by humanities experts. The events will take place at JSC Theater 2200 (Meeting Room), at Jackson State University, on the following dates:
