Native American Days 2018 is a celebration of southeastern Native American culture and traditions held at Winterville Mounds (near Greenville, Mississippi) that is free and open to the public, while focusing on activities for school-age children. Other demonstrations will include: flint knapping, Creek herbology, Creek fish-trapping techniques, pottery, Choctaw basket making, southeastern Native American games, arts and crafts, mound building, mock mound excavation, and archery. On the grounds will be food vendors serving at least three traditional Native American foods, and vendors selling Native American-themes arts and crafts.
