On September 17, join the Mississippi Humanities Council, the Phil Hardin Foundation, and the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi for the second in a special two-part series on public education in DeSoto County.
The free program will focus on the connection between public education and economic development in the area. Panelists include Corie Haynes (local realtor and DCSD parent), Cory Uselton (DeSoto County School District superintendent), and Dr. Michael Heindl (Northwest Mississippi Community College Northwest Rangers). Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi president Tom Pittman will moderate the panel.
This program is part of a larger yearlong series on public education in communities around the state.
