On September 30, join the Mississippi Humanities Council and the Phil Hardin Foundation in Biloxi at the Biloxi Visitors Center for the first in a special two-part Ideas on Tap series on public education in the state.
The free program will feature an ideologically diverse panel of education policy experts to discuss different approaches to improving public schools. Panelists include Rachel Canter (Mississippi First), Nancy Loome (The Parents’ Campaign), and Grant Callen (Empower Mississippi) MHC executive director Dr. Stuart Rockoff will moderate.
A follow-up program that addresses public education in Biloxi will take place on October 15. Both programs are part of a larger yearlong series on public education in communities around the state.
