Known as the sister of famous composer Felix Mendelssohn, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel composed over 450 works despite being discouraged by family members and 19th-century society. Hear stories of her life and some of her most significant compositions, performed by Dr. Victoria Johnson, assisted by the women of the Jones College music faculty.
