The Rosedale Freedom Project will begin with two 5-day intensive workshop for 7-12th grader students during the Freedom Summer Program. Eligible students are 7-12th graders in West Bolivar and Sunflower Counties. The workshops will be facilitated by Mississippi based Lanitx Poet C.T. Salazar.
The culmination of the project will be a public showcase in which families and community members will be invited to see performances of the poems. Visiting powers will be invited to attend in person and give a brief talk with the audience about their work with the Fellows.
