On January 19 at 6:00 p.m., Millsaps will host a screening of the documentary film “The Evers.” The screening will be followed by a conversation between Reena Evers-Everette of the Medgar and Myrlie Evers Institute and Jerry Mitchell with the Mississippi Center for Investigative Reporting. The event will take place in McMullan Lecture Hall in the Selby & Richard McRae Christian Center on the Millsaps campus and will be preceded by a reception at 5:30 p.m. in the same location.
The National Day of Racial Healing events are presented by the Millsaps College Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation (TRHT) Campus Center, in collaboration with the Medgar and Myrlie Evers Institute, the Mississippi Center for Investigative Reporting and the Mississippi Humanities Council.
