The Lebanese in America traveling exhibit is coming to The Museum of the Mississippi Delta in Greenwood April 17-May 12, 2017. The exhibit contains eight narrative pop-up displays with photographs, graphics, and QR Codes linked to supplementary materials. The panels describe the history, conditions and impact of Lebanese immigration nationally, offering a framework in which a similar, regional-focused exhibit could be produced in the future. An opening reception for the exhibition to which the Lebanese and Syrian community will be invited to attend and participate in sharing their stories. Both the exhibit and the workshop will be free and open to the public.
