Exploring the Mystical/Spiritual Side of Running and Hiking

Running and hiking offer many benefits that are readily apparent, such as health and scenery. These two individual athletic endeavors also present participants with spiritual and mystical experiences. These experiences range from the sublime space at the top of a high mountain to being in the “flow” in a long-distance run. Dr. Kersen explores these often overlooked aspects of high endurance activities.
