Humanities Teacher Award winner Dr. Kristin Boyce (Mississippi State University) will present her public lecture titled, “”Conversation” in Philosophy and Art.” Reception to follow.
This presentation will explore the importance of the “art” of conversation (as distinguished from argument or debate) for teaching in the Humanities. It will explore the special ways in which the study of philosophy and the arts can facilitate the development of this art.
